Sized up windows and doors in Germany

Earlier in the year, some of our senior staff attended the world's largest window and door show in Germany to keep up to date with the very latest developments in our industry. We didn't quite have the suitcase space to bring back this 4-metre high door but can source (more usual) sized doors for our customers across the Highlands. Made a big £110,000 investment...

Say hello to our new Urban CNC Corner Cleaner that we welcomed into our Inverness factory back in February! It's been a great replacement to our previous model. Regular investment into the business is a key part of our strategy to keep up with increasing demand for our products, and of course, ensuring they are of the highest quality for our customers.

Introduced our solar animation...

Perhaps with the recent unpredictable weather conditions in the Scottish Highlands, you might contemplate whether it is possible to reap all the same benefits from solar panels even in the summer... Our new animation explains how solar panels work and the benefits of installing a battery system in really simple terms, even if the rain doesn't stop... Continued to celebrate our workforce

In March we recognised International Women's Day. Without a doubt, the women across our team are indispensable to running our operations. We also put great emphasis on empowering our workforce equally with opportunities for their development. You can read up on some of their stories as they flourish in their careers in our International Womens Day blog special. I

n May, we then marked International Workers' Day, this year spotlighting mother/daughter duo, Yvonne and Chloe. Mum, Yvonne joined the team via a work placement in 2013 and after various admin roles, is now a key account manager within our trade department. Daughter, Chloe started as a receptionist in 2020 and now works as a purchase ledger (and studying to become an accounts technician). Between them, they've been with us for nearly 15 years! In the coming months, we will also put our stamp on the annual #NoWrongPath campaign run by Developing the Young Workforce. Our joint Managing Director, Chris Dowling is the chairman for the Inverness and Central Highlands of the Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) workplace scheme. The prime time in the campaign falls the week of Scottish Exam Results day. We've developed a tradition of sharing the stories of our workforce and what path they were on when they left school! On this year's World Consumer Rights Day we shared the news of our 10 Year Achievement Award in recognition of our long-standing membership and provision of the best Insurance Backed Guarantee (with the Consumer Protection Association) out there. That means that feedback on our installations are independently verified and gives customers greater assurance that we're a trusted trades service.
