CAIRNGORM GROUP

Waving Goodbye to 2025!

A Year of Growth, Community and Achievement at the Cairngorm Group  As the Cairngorm Group waves goodbye to 2025, there could not be a better time to reflect on what has been a truly remarkable year for our team, our customers and the communities we proudly serve across Inverness, the Highlands and beyond. From business growth and recruitment to community initiatives, education partnerships and major milestones, the past twelve months have been filled with achievements that reinforce who we are and what we stand for.  Growing Our Team Across the Highlands  We began 2025 on a positive and ambitious note by focusing on growing our team. Early in the year, we were recruiting for Sales Professional in Inverness as demand continued to rise for our windows, glazing, conservatories and home improvement services. Later in September, we were delighted to expand again in Thurso, welcoming Lolli as the newest member of the Cairngorm Group family. Investing in people remains central to our success, and growing our team allows us to continue delivering outstanding service across the Highlands.  Giving Back to the Community  Community involvement has always been at the heart of the Cairngorm Group, and 2025 was no exception. Chris, alongside colleagues, family and friends, took part in STEPS Around Scotland for Cash for Kids North Scotland. Supporting such an important cause close to home was incredibly rewarding. Later in the year, we proudly supported another Cash for Kids North Scotland initiative, Mission Christmas, where our team thoroughly enjoyed packing gifts to help bring festive cheer to children across the region.  Listening to Our Customers  This year also saw the launch of Testimonial Tuesday, giving our valued clients a platform to share their experiences. Hearing directly from customers across Inverness, Thurso and the wider Highlands reinforces our commitment to quality workmanship, reliable service and customer-focused solutions in windows, glazing, solar panels and conservatories.  Celebrating 25 Years in Bespoke Premises  One of our proudest milestones of 2025 was celebrating 25 years in our bespoke premises, designed with customers firmly at the forefront. This achievement marked a quarter of a century of innovation, growth and trust within the Highland construction and home improvement sector. Being recognised for this milestone was a testament to the dedication of our team and the loyalty of our customers.  Championing Mental Health in the Workplace  Our Joint Managing Director, Chris Dowling, had the honour of attending a powerful and inspiring mental health event at the House of Commons, hosted by Sir Iain Duncan Smith and Patrick Regan. Chris was proud to represent a Highland-based construction company, sharing the often-overlooked impact mental health challenges have on our industry and region. Supporting wellbeing in the workplace remains a priority for the Cairngorm Group, and we are committed to continuing these important conversations.  Engaging with Local Events and Businesses  Throughout the year, we were delighted to attend and support several local events, including the Moy Country Fair and the Inverness Chamber Spotlight Event in September, where we exhibited and ran a draw to win £500 in home improvement vouchers. Events like these allow us to connect with customers, businesses and partners while showcasing our expertise in windows, glazing, conservatories and renewable solutions such as solar panels.  Supporting Education and Future Talent We were also thrilled to support local education by attending Millburn Academy, helping deliver a Maths Masterclass in partnership with Developing the Young Workforce Inverness & Central Highland. Students explored how maths plays a vital role in everyday business life, from understanding mark-up and gross margin to calculating the weight of glass used in products. Seeing young people apply classroom learning to real-world scenarios was incredibly rewarding.  Festive Fun and a Strong Finish  The year ended on a festive high with the organisation of a Santa’s Grotto at our Thurso showroom, which proved to be a hugely successful and fun event for families in the community.   As we close the chapter on 2025, we are incredibly grateful for the continued demand for our windows, conservatories, solar panels, glass, glazing and supporting services. Most importantly, we are thankful to our customers, partners and communities for their trust and support. From Inverness to Thurso and across the Highlands, 2025 has been a year to remember for the Cairngorm Group, and we look forward to building on this momentum in the year ahead.
