Understanding the Need Behind the Applications
While every application to Jennifer’s Fund is different, many share common themes.
We regularly hear from families, schools and community groups who are working hard to create opportunities but face real challenges, whether that’s financial pressure, limited access to experiences, or the need for additional support during difficult times.
Applications often focus on:
- Helping young people access opportunities they might otherwise miss
- Supporting families to spend meaningful time together
- Building confidence, resilience and wellbeing
- Ensuring no one is excluded due to financial circumstances
At the heart of every request is a simple but powerful goal: to create positive, lasting experiences, whether that’s a school trip, a new activity, or time together as a family.
A Growing Impact in Our Communities
Jennifer’s Fund is part of a wider culture of community support across the Highlands, where local initiatives continue to make a real difference to people’s lives.
By supporting projects like these, the fund helps ensure that opportunities remain accessible, inclusive and rooted in the needs of local people.
If you are a part of a community group, school, or know of a project or individual who could benefit, we strongly encourage you to apply.
