Marketing Apprentice – Job Opportunities

The Marketing Apprentice will be expected to be deliver and co-ordinate in marketing projects with the support of our partner marketing agency. You will support the work of the Directors to maximise profits by contributing to the delivery, management and analysis of the company's marketing campaigns. Key aspects of the role include exceptional communication, analytical and organisational skills.
SALARY
£16K - £18K DOE
HOURS OF WORK
0900am – 5.00pm, Monday – Thursday, 8:00am – 4:00pm Friday (some evenings & weekends will be required with time given back in lieu.
LINE MANAGEMENT
You will report to Chris Dowling & David Dowling You will be given appraisals at regular intervals to review your performance, set new personal development goals and discuss concerns.
OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
These are the areas of activity that you will be expected to take responsibility for and will be discussed and measured in your 1-2-1 appraisals. You will be provided with a strategic outline and plan for delivery of these activities, some training will be provided. Day to day management of the company social media channels Writing blog and news pieces for the company for online distribution Using email marketing tools to deliver monthly communications to customers Content updates to the company website Preparation of materials for/stand management at events Gathering feedback form customers including carrying out customer surveys Oversee the showroom including arranging events, ordering brochures etc Liaison with the incumbent marketing agency and Directors to review success of the strategic plan
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Excellent grasp of the Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint (or alternatives) Active on social media, you have a good base knowledge to develop this for business use Confident telephone communication skills with suppliers and customers The ability to manage multiple and varied tasks Committed to learning and gaining new skills Delivering projects to un-moveable deadlines Understanding and adherence to EU 2018 data protection law

TRAINING
Funding dependant, the successful candidate will be put through a digital marketing MA as well as receive training from our marketing partner, Yellow Cherry Digital.
