Our Platinum Jubilee: Celebrating 70 Years!

Just as former Managing Director, Alasdair Dowling (Grandfather of current joint Managing Directors Chris and Scott) has not long celebrated a big birthday (90!), we ourselves celebrate a huge milestone! Read on to find out what is in store for us right throughout our 70th year. That includes access to a shiny new interactive webpage for you to navigate around, and early-bird insight into one of our biggest competitions yet! Formerly known as Inverness Glass Company Ltd, we’ve been serving the North of Scotland in many more ways than one, all the while remaining a family-owned business across four generations. We realise that this is somewhat of a rarity, and so to see our business’ foundations grow under the Dowling family name fills us with great pride. However, we know it wouldn't be without the support from our customers and so we have some exciting things to share with you. With that being said, let’s shine a light onto the immensely exciting stuff! Firstly, we have a newly launched ‘Through the Decades’ timeline packed with insights into our history – it’s all a bit nostalgic! We have teamed up with Highland News & Media to provide you with a spotlight on each of our seven decades every month between March through to November. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled!
